Amanie Advisors Sdn. Bhd. (Amanie), an established international Shariah advisory firm, has been PGMSB’s appointed Shariah adviser since 2016 and continues to provide Shariah advisory, review and audit services for its approved gold and silver trading programmes.

Since the commencement of Amanie’s engagement in 2016, PGMSB has fulfilled the annual Shariah audit requirements under the engagement and continues to meet these requirements to date.

PGMSB is responsible for ensuring that its day-to-day operations adhere to the approved Shariah requirements. Annual Shariah audits assess this continued adherence against the endorsed transaction structures, processes and documentation, with management responsible for addressing findings and recommendations.

Amanie’s Shariah endorsement covers the following programmes, subject to the approved structures, terms and conditions:

  • Outright Purchase (OP)
  • Gold / Silver Accumulation Programme (GSAP)
  • Easy Payment Purchase (EPP)
  • Undertaking to Buy Back Products

Amanie’s Shariah Pronouncement dated 19 May 2026 reflects its review and endorsement of PGMSB’s updated transaction structures, processes and supporting documentation. It replaces and supersedes the earlier Shariah Pronouncements dated 16 December 2016 and 29 September 2017.

The Shariah Pronouncement establishes the approved arrangements against which ongoing operational compliance is assessed through annual Shariah audits and the issuance of Shariah audit confirmation letters. Where business processes, programme features or transaction arrangements undergo material changes, these changes are subject to Amanie’s review, with an updated Shariah Pronouncement issued where required. Where the approved arrangements remain unchanged, annual audits continue to be conducted by reference to the prevailing Shariah Pronouncement.

The certificate therefore serves as the continuing reference for the approved arrangements, supported by the annual audit process.
